We believe God alone is worthy of our worship and praise (<a class=\"esv-crossref-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.esv.org\/verses\/Psalm%20148%3A13\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Psalm 148:13<\/a>). The Scripture tells us that anything short of God-centered worship is idolatry (<a class=\"esv-crossref-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.esv.org\/verses\/Jeremiah%202%3A13\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jeremiah 2:13<\/a>), and it also tells us that false worship is unacceptable (<a class=\"esv-crossref-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.esv.org\/verses\/Deuteronomy%2012%3A29-31\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Deuteronomy 12:29-31<\/a>;\u00a0<a class=\"esv-crossref-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.esv.org\/verses\/Deuteronomy%2016%3A21-22\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Deuteronomy 16:21-22<\/a>,\u00a0<a class=\"esv-crossref-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.esv.org\/verses\/Galatians%205%3A19-21\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Galatians 5:19-21<\/a>).
